I know the main city is better, but I'm going to use trains to get to Gdynia so it'll be a comfortable night walk at night if I book near Gdansk Glowny. The voivodeship was established on January 1, 1999, out of the former voivodeships of Gdańsk, Elbląg and Słupsk, pursuant to the Polish local government reforms adopted in 1997.
